The 2018 BIC Retreat

The 2018 BIC Retreat will held at Usine C on December 10th, 2018. This one-day event will not only give us the chance to get to know each other better, but will also provide a forum to learn more about the different research activity being conducted at the BIC. Furthermore, it will be an excellent sounding board for exchanging ideas and fostering collaborations with colleagues.
Please note that Dr. Derek Jones (Cardiff University, Wales, UK)听has accepted our invitation to听deliver听a keynote lecture. In addition to this talk, the听scientific听program will be filled with a selection of talks from your colleagues at the BIC. There will also be听two听poster sessions听and a panel discussion intended to spark some friendly debate.
The scientific program will be followed by cocktails and the annual BIC Holiday Party.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
You may submit an abstract to contribute to the poster sessions of the BIC Scientific Retreat taking place on December 10, 2018. The abstract submission deadline is November 19th, 2018. Abstracts will be reviewed by the program scientific committee. Authors will be notified by whether their submission will be accepted or not by December 3rd, 2018. Clinical and research fellows, residents, medical students, post-docs and graduate students may submit posters.听Abstracts should be limited to one page of text in pdf format and not to exceed 500 words, single spaced with a space between the title/author and the main text. Abstracts should be uploaded when registering to attend the symposium.
