The COSMO Lab will host the fifth annual COSMO Technical Day on Tuesday, June 28th, 2011, where papers will be presented by COSMO students and staff in the field of stochastic orebody modeling and production scheduling.听 Other topics of presentations included but not limited to Stochastic Pit Optimizers,听 high-Order Stochastic Simulations, Pushback Design with Uncertainty and its Applications on Multiple Process Copper and Gold Operations, Determining Optimum Production Capacities, Pattern Based Simulations Methods, Wavelets-based Pattern Simulation for Geologic Heterogeneity,听Decompositions and Approximations for high-Order Spatial Cumulants, and Optimum Production Scheduling for Multiple Process Operations using Simulated Annealing, and Solving Large SIP Formulations with Metaheuristics.
