Alumna Michelle Louise Atkin (MLIS’03, PhD’11) wins Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) award

Michelle Louise Atkin, ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ School of Information Studies alumna (MLIS’03, PhD’11) and Algoma University Librarian, has won an Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) award for a paper she presented at the 2012 ALISE conference.

Dr. Atkin's paper "Examining the Limits of Free Expression through Canadian Case Law: Reflections on the Canadian Library Association's Code of Ethics and its Supporting Statement on Intellectual Freedom" will be published in the annual "Best Conference Papers" issue of the Journal of Education for Library & Information Science (JELIS).
