BCL/LLB student Flora L锚 wins NACLE student paper competition
Flora L锚 won the opportunity to present a paper at the annual North American Consortium on Legal Education鈥檚 (NACLE) conference. Her work, 鈥淟鈥檃daptation de l鈥檌ndustrie agricole nord-am茅ricaine aux changements climatiques : vers une nouvelle gouvernance鈥, was written under the direction of Professor Richard Janda.
The NACLE is composed of 13 participating law schools in Canada, Mexico and the United States. The consortium gives law students the opportunity to participate in in semester-long exchanges at our member universities.
Additionally, NACLE holds an annual student paper competition, whose topics concern comparative North American law or NAFTA. Winning students receive an invitation to attend the annual conference, all expenses paid. Students then present their papers for faculty and student criticism. This year鈥檚 NACLE conference was held in Ottawa from October 2 to October 5, 2008.
Kudos to Flora!
