The Faculty mourns the passing of the Honourable Michel Proulx
The Honourable Michel Proulx was a shrewd judge, a great lawyer and a learned professor of law, and he devoted his life to the improvement of the criminal justice system and to the advancement of human rights in Canada. His achievements include a criminal and penal case management service that improved the court system and made it more efficient.
The Honourable Michel Proulx was also the author of works on criminal law and ethics, subjects on which he gave many conferences as well. In 2006, he was awarded the Prix de la Justice du Qu茅bec, in acknowledgement of his devotion to the improvement and promotion of justice in Quebec.
