Four BCom Case Teams made the finals at the 32nd annual Inter-Collegiate Business Competition

Four BCom CaseÌýTeamsÌýmade the finals atÌýthe 32nd annual ICBC (Inter-Collegiate Business Competition)Ìýheld at Queen's University on JanuaryÌý7 to 10,Ìý2010 with both the Ethics and Finance teams taking first place overall.

In OctoberÌý2009,ÌýÌýtheseÌýteams participated in a written case competition, finishing top six.Ìý These six teams were invited to Queen's UniversityÌýin JanuaryÌý2010, where they had 5.5 hours to analyze a new case that was then presented to a panel of representatives of the business community.

Special thanks go toÌýProfs.ÌýVadim di Pietro, Richard Donovan, Suzanne Gagnon and Larry Goldsman who devoted their time and energy coaching theÌýteams.Ìý Prof. Goldsman also accompanied theÌýDesautels delegation to Queen's.

The Inter-Collegiate Business Competition is Canada's oldest and largest undergraduate business case competition. Hosted annually by Queen's University students, the ICBC attracts business students from across the nation and beyond.ÌýThe ICBC is an ideal opportunity for students, faculty and prominent members of the business community to interact, network and exchange ideas and experiences.
