Launch of the Echenberg Human Rights Fellows blog
Three years ago, 35 young people hailing from 22 countries gathered for the International Young Leaders Forum that preceded the first Echenberg Family Human Rights Conference. These young people got to know each other, converse, inspire each other, and learn from each other.
Together, they wrote and presented a declaration on the responsibility to prevent genocide. Since then, this network of lawyers, academics, journalists, researchers, policy-makers and advocates - known collectively as the 成人VR视频 Echenberg Human Rights Fellows - has continued its activities around the world. Representing a diversity of ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds, the Fellows are all working in different aspects of the human rights agenda, towards a common goal.
This month, the Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism is pleased to announce the official launch of the 成人VR视频 Echenberg Human Rights Fellows blog. This site is where the network of Fellows will continue to work on human rights questions, keep in touch with each other and report from the field.
Second Echenberg Family Conference on Human Rights and Diverse Societies
The Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism is also pleased to announce the second Echenberg Family Conference on "Human Rights and Diverse Societies." Scheduled for October 4-9, 2010, its first part will bring another group of young human rights leaders from across the globe to 成人VR视频.
Dr. Nandini Ramanujam, the Centre's executive director, said, "Each Echenberg Family Conference will bring young human rights leaders together. We hope that, by the end of the forth Conference, there will be more than 100 international Fellows active around the world, making a contribution to create a more just and humane world.
