Law Homecoming: (Un)Common Law et civilit茅s matinales - a great success!
The Faculty of Law had a lot to celebrate at this year鈥檚 Homecoming Breakfast 鈥 including 10 years of transsystemic education and 40 years of common law teaching.
This October 17, Dean Nicholas Kasirer welcomed more than 80 esteemed alumni to the Law Faculty鈥檚 Common Room for the breakfast, in conjunction with other 成人VR视频 Homecoming activities. Homecoming is the annual celebration where graduates are invited back to campus to reconnect with old friends and faculty members, and to mix and mingle with current students.
Kasirer was thrilled with the turnout 鈥 and says those in attendance felt the same: 鈥淪o many graduates enjoyed telling me how they were impressed with the law students who attended as 鈥榰shers鈥 (at 8 a.m. no less!), and with seeing staff, old (c鈥檈st une fa莽on de parler!) and new.鈥
The theme of this year鈥檚 breakfast was 鈥 (Un)Common Law et civilit茅s matinales鈥 to celebrate the unique aspects of 成人VR视频鈥檚 Law Faculty.
Not only is 成人VR视频鈥檚 the oldest law school in the country, but it was also the first to establish the transsystemic approach to legal education in 1999. 成人VR视频 law students study in both French and English, and its graduates are able to practice in Canadian, US and UK common law systems as well as in Quebec鈥檚 civil law system.
