Nanoparticle Safety Seminar: Measuring, Evaluating, and Managing Nanoparticle Exposure

成人VR视频 has more nanoscience researchers than any other Canadian university. We have researchers involved in nanotechnology research in the Faculties of Science, Medicine, Engineering and Dentistry. As our expertise and knowledge of nanotechnology grows, it is important to consider the impact of nanoscience research on the health and well-being of nanotechnology researchers.

On March 8, 2007, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) will be hosting a web-based safety seminar being organized by the American Industrial Hygiene Association on nanoparticles.

The seminar is composed of four presentations:

  • Practical Measurement Techniques for Airborne Nanoparticles in the Workplace
  • Relating Nanoparticle Exposures to Respiratory Dose or Body Burden
  • Characterizing and Controlling Exposures to Nanoparticles in the Workplace
  • Regulatory and Risk Overview for Managing Nanomaterials Along the Product Life Cycle

For more detailed information, visit our website.

EHS strongly encourages nanotechnology researchers (including graduate students and post-docs) to participate in this seminar. Participation is FREE. Due to limited capacity of the auditorium, the seminar is restricted to 成人VR视频 students, staff and faculty only.
