The Ordre des dentistes du Qu茅bec Welcomes the New Jim Lund Dental Clinic in Montreal
Montreal, February 11, 2011鈥� The Ordre des dentistes du Qu茅bec is very pleased to salute the opening of the Jim Lund Dental Clinic in the Welcome Hall Mission, an organization that helps the homeless.
The clinic, located in one of Montr茅al's most underprivileged neighbourhoods, will not only meet a serious need for dental care, but will also offer a unique training ground for dental students, by showing them the often complex situation of people living in terrible poverty.
鈥淒r. Jim Lund was an ardent defender of everyone鈥檚 right to dental care. He believed deeply in fairness and social justice, and was very concerned about society鈥檚 neediest members. By naming this clinic in his memory, the 成人VR视频 Faculty of Dentistry is ensuring that this important responsibility incumbent upon our profession will always be a tangible part of students鈥� experience,鈥� said Dr. Diane Legault, President of the Ordre des dentistes du Qu茅bec.
