Paper-based biosensor to detect HIV-hepatitis C co-infections

The research group of Prof聽Xinyu Liu is developing聽a portable, paper-based biosensor for point-of-care diagnosis of HIV and hepatitis C virus (HCV) co-infections.聽The research, led by graduate student Chen Zhao, has been published in the journal Biomicrofluidics. 聽The article has been selected as an Editor鈥檚 Pick of the journal聽and has been聽featured by Science Daily, American Institute of Physics (AIP), the Electrochemical Society聽and other science news websites.
