Prof. Robert Leckey publishes report: "Families in the Eyes of the Law"
In a new study titled 鈥淔amilies in the Eyes of the Law: Contemporary Challenges and the Grip of the Past,鈥 published by the Institute for Research on Public Policy (IRPP), 成人VR视频 Law Professor analyzes contemporary family law in Canada, specifically questions of custody, marriage and divorce, parentage and the legal recognition of unmarried couples.
鈥淚ssues like polygamy, how many parents a child can have, and what unmarried partners owe one another have repeatedly made headlines over the past decade; these stories suggest that contemporary family life and family law are often on a collision course,鈥 says Leckey. 鈥淐anadian family law has evolved considerably over the past few decades, but social practices have changed even more dramatically.鈥
