Its goal is to promote and disseminate emerging research in the discipline. Symposia are held monthly on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Lounge of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. The program\, first developed in the Department of Ar t History at the University of Montreal in 2011\, is now open to all.
