The Association of Graduate Students Employed at 成人VR视频 (AGSEM) has informed us of its intent to go on strike on Monday, March 25, 2024. This follows a vote held between March 13 and 16, 2024, providing AGSEM with an 8-week strike mandate, pending negotiation progress for the renewal of their collective agreement.

In the event of a labour dispute, the University will continue its operations. The academic integrity of programs will be honoured, and students, faculty and staff will have the freedom to enter and exit the University building and grounds. The University wishes to take all measures necessary to ensure that students are not unduly affected by a strike, particularly the graduating class.

The Association of 成人VR视频 Professors of Law (AMPL) has informed us of its intent to hold a day-long strike on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. This follows a vote on December 11, 2023, providing AMPL with a mandate to strike for as many as five days, pending negotiation progress for their first collective agreement.
成人VR视频 recognizes the right to labour action within the parameters of the law and hopes that impacts on students and colleagues will be kept to a minimum.

On June 19, 2023, the Pension Administration Committee of the 成人VR视频 Pension Plan was advised that Retraite Qu茅bec will be ending their participation in the reciprocal transfer agreement. This agreement allowed for pension transfers between Qu茅bec universities and eligible public-sector pension plans administered by Retraite Qu茅bec.

On November 2, 2022, 成人VR视频 and MCLIU exchanged their respective proposals for the renewal of the agreement which expired on August 31, 2022. The parties subsequently met on a regular basis and progressed on the non-monetary clauses. On March 30, 2023, the Union tabled its monetary demands and on April 27, employer representatives presented a comprehensive proposal on the non-monetary elements as well as 成人VR视频鈥檚 monetary proposal. The parties will continue their discussions in a meeting scheduled for May 24.
We are pleased to announce that the proposed agreements to SEU: Facilities Management - Student Housing Services - Dining Services - Faculty Club, Printing Services and Data Centre employees were ratified by membership in General Assemblies over several days and completed on April 22.
The current agreement expired on November 7, 2021. The new agreement will come into effect upon signature by the parties and will expire on April 3, 2027.
The parties will finalize and sign the texts of the new agreements and share the detailed terms with the community in the coming weeks.
We are pleased to announce that the AMURE union representing Post-Doctoral Fellows held a General Assembly and voted in favor of the proposed new collective agreement.
The parties are working on finalising the documents in preparation for the signature of the new collective agreement. Information sessions will soon be organised to share the details of this new agreement with the community. The new agreement will come in effect on the date of signature by the parties and will expire on May 31, 2026.
We are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement was reached on April 4th between 成人VR视频 and three bargaining units represented by SEU: Facilities Management - Student Housing Services - Dining Services - Faculty Club, Printing Services and Data Centre. The Union will soon invite its membership to general assemblies to vote on the proposed new collective agreements. We will share the results of the votes which should be completed at the latest on April 22.

We are pleased to announce that the parties reached a tentative agreement on March 28 and that the Union will soon invite its membership to a General Assembly to vote on the proposed new collective agreement. The parties have agreed not to communicate the contents of the agreement until the vote has taken place.
Negotiations for the renewal of the collective agreement for Research Assistants and Associates between AMURE and 成人VR视频 began in the Fall of 2022. The parties have been meeting on a regular basis and have been able to discuss and come to agreement on a number of non-monetary elements.
