This comes after the Quebec government announced new measures which prohibit team sports and close fitness facilities until October 28th. Congratulations to Alessandra Amato on her poster presentation at the 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting from September 11-15, 2020 titled 鈥�Evaluating the Muscle-Bone Unit in Severe Obesity with and without Type 2 Diabetes鈥�. The conference annually connects over 3,000 scientists from around the world for the premier scientific program presenting cutting-edge research in the bone, mineral, and musculoskeletal field.

Professor听Tyler Churchward-Venne听of 成人VR视频 Education's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education has just been announced as a听John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF) grant recipient! As principal investigator for the research being done in听Exercise and Nutrition to Support Skeletal Muscle Health Across the Lifespan, Dr.听Churchward-Venne听will receive听$344,957 from JELF; $344,957 matching provincial funds.
