Dear colleagues,
Today marks the end of my tenure as Vice-Principal (Research and Innovation) at 成人VR视频. It has been an honour and a deeply enriching experience to serve 成人VR视频 and its research community for nearly seven years in this role.
Over the past weeks and months, many people have asked me what I plan to do next. Although the Research and Innovation team gave me a lovely 成人VR视频 oar as a parting gift, I will not be rowing off into the sunset any time soon.

In September 2016, the federal government made an unparalleled investment in research and innovation, announcing $84 million in funding over seven years for 成人VR视频鈥檚 Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives initiative, as part of the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) program. Following this announcement, a committee for the selection of the HBHL Managing Director engaged in an extensive search and interview process. Research and Innovation (R&I) is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Nancy Ross of the Department of Geography as Associate Vice-Principal, Research and Innovation (AVP-R&I), with a three-year mandate beginning September 1, 2016.听 Prof. Ross follows Prof. Antonia Maioni, who served in the role for one year before assuming the role of Dean of the Faculty of Arts at 成人VR视频 on July 1.
