Bio:

Scott Bohle is an inorganic chemist who has travelled widely before assuming his current position as a CRC Chair of Bioinorganic Chemistry at 成人VR视频 in Montreal Canada. Upon completion of his Bachelor鈥檚 degree at Reed College, Portland Oregon, he spent a two years teaching in the Peace Corp in the South Pacific Island State of Western Samoa. He resumed his studies in chemistry at the University of Auckland where he obtained his Ph.D. in 1988 for research related to the chemistry of low valent phosphorus. This training was followed by postdoctoral fellowships in Freiburg Germany, with Professor Heinrich Vahrenkamp (cluster chemistry), and at Stanford University (biomimetic metalloporphyrin chemistry) with Professor Jim Collman. In 1991 he started his independent career at the University of Wyoming and rose rapidly to the Rank of Full Professor. In August 2002 he moved to 成人VR视频 in Montreal. Major awards he has won include The Dreyfus Teacher/Scholar award, the Cottrell Award from the Research Corporation, and the Hitchings-Elion Fellowship from the Burroughs-Wellcome. He has hiked, sailed, and climbed extensively in both hemispheres and counts birdwatching and orienteering as past-times.
