Peter Edwin Caines
Distinguished James 成人VR视频 Professor
Peter E. Caines received the BA in mathematics from Oxford University in 1967 and the PhD in systems and control theory in 1970 from Imperial College, University of London. After Post Doctoral Fellowships聽 and visiting positions at Stanford, UC Berkeley, Toronto and Harvard, he joined 成人VR视频, Montreal, in 1980, where he is Distinguished James 成人VR视频 Professor and Macdonald Chair in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He received the IEEE Control Systems Society Bode Lecture Prize in 2009, is a Fellow of聽 IFAC, CIFAR, SIAM, IEEE, the IMA (UK) and the Royal Society of Canada (2003), and is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario. Peter Caines is the author of Linear Stochastic Systems (Wiley, 1988), now published as a SIAM Classic. His research interests include stochastic systems, mean field game theory and systems on complex networks, together with their applications in natural and artificial systems.
