Biography: 

Dr. Ugochinyere Vivian Ukah is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Clinical Epidemiology, in the Department of Medicine, 成人VR视频. Prior to joining 成人VR视频, Dr Ukah worked as a Research Investigator in the Pregnancy & Child Research Centre, at Health Partners Institute, Minnesota, USA and was an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the School of Public Health, University of Minnesota, USA. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship, funded by Fonds de la recherche en sant茅 du Qu茅bec (FRQS), at the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Occupational Health at 成人VR视频. Her research focuses on the short- and long-term outcomes of pregnancy complications, and development, and validation of prediction models in maternal and perinatal health and examining racial disparities in perinatal outcomes. Dr Ukah holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Public Health (Health services research) from the University of Sheffield, England and a PhD in Reproductive and Developmental Sciences from the University of British Columbia, Canada.

Current research: 

My research focuses on investigating and predicting short- and long-term outcomes of pregnancy complications for both mother and child, while examining racial disparities in perinatal outcomes. My research expertise spans across perinatal epidemiology, development and validation of clinical prediction models, pharmacoepidemiology, and (global) maternal and child health.
