When Eduard B. died in 1972, his original family name, country of origin, date and place of birth wereunknown. In 2010 a single clue, his father鈥檚 first name, made it possible to solve this mystery. A 31-year search uncovered his origins in the turmoil and shifting national boundaries of Russia, Ukraine, Poland and Kazakhstan.
