Biography: 

Marc Pomerleau is a Research Associate and Course Lecturer in the Graduate Diploma in Legal Translation at the School of Continuing Studies’ Global and Strategic Communication Domain. Holding a Ph.D. in Translation Studies from Université de Montreal, his research focuses on the political and legal dimensions of translation, with a particular focus on access to justice, artificial intelligence and minority languages in Canada and beyond. His work has been published in renowned journals in translation studies and political science such as Meta, Perspectives, and Politique et Sociétés. He is a certified translator with over 20 years of professional experience in translation, writing, editing and interpretation.
