Biography: 

Through more than 20 years as a fund raising and marketing consultant, Shaun Lynch has been involved in a wide range of projects, including the direction of major capital campaigns, the execution of fundraising audits, the creation of communication plans, the writing of cases for support and the training of volunteers and staff members involved in fundraising operations. He currently heads his own consulting firm, Adventum Philanthropic Marketing.

Mr. Lynch’s clients have included Concordia University, The Salvation Army’s Quebec Division, Miss Edgar’s and Miss Cramp’s School, The Canada Council for the Arts, Festival Accès Asie, Hôpital du Saint-Sacrement in Québec City, the Montreal Children's Hospital, the University of Ottawa, Marianopolis College, the Lakeshore General Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, the Labrador Innu Nation and l’Université du Québec à Montréal.

Mr. Lynch has been an instructor in the Public Relations programme of ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ’s School of Continuing Studies since the fall of 2009, teaching courses in event management and fundraising.

He has also been a part-time faculty member of Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business since 2001, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in fundraising, marketing the arts, consumer behaviour and marketing management. Mr. Lynch holds an Honours BA in Psychology from Bishop's University and an MBA from ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ.

A sought-after speaker, Mr. Lynch has conducted fundraising workshops for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, the Canadian Association of Independent Schools, Weizmann Canada and Na’amat Canada. He earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2003, and he is a 2008 graduate of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Faculty Training Academy.
