MUHC鈥檚 Got Talent Showcases Healthcare Heroes Beyond the Clinic

On November 5, 2024, Montreal鈥檚 Beanfield Theatre filled up for the third edition of MUHC鈥檚 Got Talent, where MUHC healthcare workers swapped their lab coats for the spotlight, performing to support causes close to their hearts. Organized by the MUHC Foundation, this event has raised over $1.23 million since its inception in 2022, supporting various initiatives from women鈥檚 health to respiratory care.

This year鈥檚 top talent prize went to Dr. Don Vinh鈥檚 patient鈥檚 family member Victoria Hindley (top right) who delivered an unforgettable performance, raising significant funds for the Centre for Research in Infection and Immunity. Meanwhile, Power Hub Choir, a group led by Dr. Judy Luu (left), earned third place in the talent contest and the top spot as the evening鈥檚 highest fundraiser. 鈥淭he energy in the room was electric,鈥 Dr. Luu noted. 鈥淚t was so inspiring because we really do put our whole hearts into our work, and we wanted to bring that passion onto the stage.鈥

The Fan Favourite award went to Dr. Linda Ofiara and Dr. Stephane Beaudoin鈥檚 Lung Dancers, whose performance resonated with the crowd and left a lasting impact (bottom right).
