Congratulations to Dr. Ugochinyere Vivian Ukah, Assistant Professor in the Division of Clinical Epidemiology, on her election as Member at Large on the Equity Advisory Board of the Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiologic Research (SPER). In this leadership role, Dr. Ukah will help advance the Board's efforts to promote equity within the Society and across pediatric, perinatal, and reproductive epidemiologic research.

Last Tuesday's High Value Healthcare Symposium covered a lot of ground. One of the nicest parts of the day was seeing so many graduate students and trainees take the stage alongside their supervisors. Between the presentations, posters, and Abstract Slam, attendees were treated to a wide range of research, innovations, and perspectives on improving healthcare.

Recognized for her innovative work in geriatric care, Dr. Chabot combines medicine and music through research on the therapeutic effects of music on hospitalized geriatric patients while advancing multidisciplinary care initiatives at St. Mary’s Hospital Center.
