Bell Centre matchup between Montreal and Toronto will set Professional Women鈥檚 Hockey League attendance record
The Montreal Canadiens have been the hottest ticket in town for over a century, but the Habs are no longer the only professional hockey team capable of drawing a standing-room only crowd to the Bell Centre. Tickets for the Professional Women鈥檚 Hockey League (PWHL) April 20, 2024, matchup between Montreal and Toronto sold out in less than twenty minutes, and will set a new record for a PWHL game. It鈥檚 the team鈥檚 first time playing at the Bell Centre, but they have sold out all of their games at their home arena, the 3,245-seat Verdun Auditorium. 鈥淭he Canadiens are not having their best season,鈥 said Bruno Delorme, a lecturer at 成人VR视频 Desautels, to the Montreal Gazette. 鈥淪o there鈥檚 an opportunity for another team to arise. We saw that with the Alouettes. They won the Grey Cup and had the big parade. The soccer鈥檚 been lagging a bit. Now, there鈥檚 a place in the panorama of sports in Montreal, and the women take it over. Good for them.鈥
