Ram Panda (MEng鈥�71, MBA鈥�77) is the new chair of the 成人VR视频 Board of Governors. He came to Canada from his native India in 1968 to study electrical engineering at 成人VR视频, and never left. In 1978, he co-founded metal-industry software maker Invera Inc., which rapidly became a major player in its market.

Throughout his life, Mr Panda has stayed involved with his alma mater: he gave the school an endowment to help found the Trottier Institute for Sustainability in Engineering, as well as the Panda Faculty Scholar in Sustainable Engineering and Design award.

As to his environmental awareness, Mr. Panda says that when he became a grandfather, he 鈥渟uddenly woke up one day and said 鈥榤y god, is there going to be a world for our grandchildren?鈥欌�澛犅�
