Guest Lecture in IT in Business with Diego Mastroianni

As a guest lecturer, Mr. George Attar gave an overview of the solutions that McKesson provides in the healthcare industry. He explored the state of healthcare in the United States and Canada and the various approaches they take to solving issues through technology. Mr. Attar spent the second portion of the lecture discussing the future disruptors in healthcare and how McKesson may incorporate certain technologies into their solutions. In particular, he examined the potential roles of blockchain, AI, automatic transportation, and virtual reality technologies in the healthcare industry.
