Harper gets new security adviser amid major shuffle of senior public service

Richard Fadden, the deputy minister of National Defence and former spymaster, became the prime minister鈥檚 national security adviser as part of a sweeping shakeup at the senior ranks of Canada鈥檚 bureaucracy.
... Kelly Gillis, the senior assistant deputy minister at Industry Canada responsible for Spectrum, information technologies and telecommunications, is moved up to associate deputy minister at Industry.
