Paul Sturgess is the Managing Director of Private Capital for Ontario Teacher’s, a global investor with net assets of $266.3 billion as of 2025. Previously, Paul was the Chief Revenue Officer for TransUnion Canada, the B2B data and analytics business and credit bureau. In this role he led a 60-person sales team serving the needs of 1800+ clients across the country.

Prior to this role, Paul was the Vice President, Strategy & Business Architecture at the Royal Bank of Canada. He led strategy development and internal consulting for Personal & Commercial Banking, supporting 10 different businesses within. Before this, Paul was at Manulife Asset Management where he led strategy, marketing, communications and digital in Canada, the US and Asia. Prior to this he was a management consultant at Booz & Company in New York and worked for KPMG Corporate Finance in London and Paris, advising clients in both Europe and Asia.

Paul has an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA (Honours) in Economics from ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ.
