Biography:

I am an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Desautels Faculty of Management, ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ, since 2020. I obtained my PhD in Operations Management from the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. Previously, I completed my B.S. and M.S. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.Ìý

One of my main research interests is in environmental supply chain management. Specifically, I am interested in the problem of supply chain (or Scope 3) emissions, and my research isÌýmotivated by domestic and global climate policies and their impact on business operations. Conversely, this also can aid in the better design of policies and regulations to achieve carbon reduction objectives while minimizing unintended consequences. Theoretically, I am also interested in the interplay of information, incentives, and fairness in multi-agent environments such as supply chain networks.Ìý

I have handled data projects for several Canadian organizations such as Best Buy Canada, Lululemon, Procurify, and Lighthouse Labs. In other engagements, my interests in sustainable urban planning have led me to serve on the TransportationÌý Advisory Committee to the City of Vancouver and on the board of Green Teams of Canada.
