2012 Poster Session - Access to Health Care: The Impact of Language Barriers

On Wednesday, May 9th, 2012, the 成人VR视频 Training and Retention of Health Professionals Project hosted a poster session on Access to Health Care: The Impact of Language Barriers. The project funds research projects that investigate health care access for linguistic minorities. Research is funded with the aim of expanding the project鈥檚 strategies and best practices for improving access to health care for minority language communities in Quebec. The event consisted of 12 presentations given by research teams funded for the 2010-2012 phase; 3 presentations by research teams funded for the 2012-2013 phase, and one invited guest presentation on cross border health care access in the United States. The poster session brought together researchers, community network leaders, and government officials with a view to creating collaborations for expanding research in language barriers in access to health care.
