Education Researcher Receive John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF) Funding

Thirty-two ��VR��Ƶ research projects have received new funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) for investments in research infrastructure to support their innovative projects, for a total federal investment of $9.7 million. These grants will be matched by the Quebec government, doubling their value.

The Daniel and Monica Gold Centre for Early Childhood Development provides funding for graduate students and researchers in the Faculty of Education to support their research in Early Childhood Development (e.g. social-emotional, cognitive or physical development, neurodiverse learning, clinical assessment, innovative educational approaches). Through their work, award winners will generate and share evidence-based knowledge to support young children and their families, advancing the Centre’s objective to help all children get the best start in life.

The Daniel and Monica Gold Centre for Early Childhood Development, in collaboration with ��VR��Ƶ EMHR, is pleased to present a new resource, "Tantrums and more: Practical strategies for healthy emotion regulation development in early childhood”. These resources are designed for professionals and caregivers working with young children, providing evidence-based strategies to aid children’s emotion regulation and anxiety management, which can be hard to find.
