DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 2-hour introductory training on how data science 
 powers modern genomics and RNA research within D2R. After a brief overview
  of what “data science” really means in our context (Mathieu Bourgey\, D2R
 's Data Science Director)\, four short talks will highlight its key pillar
 s: machine learning (Hamed Najafabadi)\, biostatistics (Josée Dupuis)\, et
 hics and governance of data use (Ma’n H. Zawati)\, and bioinformatics and 
 computational pipelines (Guillaume Bourque). The session will conclude wit
 h an interactive panel discussion where trainees can ask questions and exp
 lore practical challenges in their own projects. This event is designed fo
 r students and fellows from all backgrounds who want a concise\, big-pictu
 re view of the data science toolkit behind D2R.\n\nEvent Details\n\nDate &
