Biography:
Anila Asghar is internationally recognized for her pioneering scholarship on the complex interactions between religion and scientific reasoning in diverse Muslim communities. She has been developing effective and inclusive learning environments to promote a deeper conceptual understanding of science and sustainability models. Her work to support the development of learners’ cognition, emotions, motivation, and self-regulation while learning science has benefited hundreds of science and technology teachers in Canadian public schools.
