Dr. Kevin McDonough is an Associate Professor of Philosophy of Education at ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ, Canada. He co-edited (with Walter Feinberg) Citizenship and Education in Liberal-Democratic Societies:Ìý Teaching for Collective Identities and Cosmopolitan Values (Oxford, 2003).Ìý He has authored or co-authored articles in The American Journal of Education, Journal of Philosophy of Education, Religion and Education, Studies in Philosophy of Education, Teaching and Teacher Education, and Theory and Research in Education. His current research focuses on philosophical questions that arise at the intersection of social epistemology, intellectual disability, and education policy. Dr. McDonough is interested more broadly in the philosophical aspects of democratic citizenship education and diversity.
