Biography: 

Dr. Tasmia Hai is a school and clinical psychologist with a background in child and adolescent psychology. She holds a Ph.D. in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Alberta, where her dissertation focused on exploring the relationships between subcortical volume and executive functions in children diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Her research encompasses the neurobiological underpinnings of different neurodevelopmental disorder including ADHD. Dr. Hai's work has been recognized through a multitude of awards and grants, ranging from SSHRC Fellowships to Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarships. Her involvement in professional organizations, such as the Canadian Psychological Association and the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance (CADDRA), highlights her dedication to the advancement of psychological research and practice. In addition to her research pursuits, Dr. Hai is an active educator, having taught courses related to developmental psychopathology and educational assessment. For her clinical training, Dr. Hai has worked at hospitals, community agencies and school boards in Alberta and Ontario.
