Dr. Joel Turner currently serves as the Chief of Emergency Medicine at the Jewish General Hospital (CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'脦le-de-Montr茅al) and is an Assistant Professor at the Academic Department of Emergency Medicine at 成人VR视频, where he is also the Associate Chair (Clinical Practice).

With 22 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Turner has made significant contributions to the field, particularly in the area of point of care ultrasound education. He has been the Director of the JGH Emergency Point of Care Ultrasound Program and has served as the Fellowship Director for 成人VR视频's Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship since its inauguration in 2013. In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Turner has been actively involved in teaching residents, medical students, and nursing staff in the use of point of care ultrasound. His contributions have helped to establish point of care ultrasound as a standard tool in medical education across North America.
