Current research:
Dr. Assouline is a clinician scientist with a focus on the clinical development of novel therapies for the treatment of leukemia and lymphoma. She has designed and conducted several clinical trials to treat these diseases. She is currently the disease site co-chair for the CCTG (Canadian Cancer Trials Group) where is involved in the design of national and international clinical trials.
Projects:
- Clinical trial design for phase 1 and 2 clinical trials in acute leukemia.
- Translational projects examining the immune environment or other predictors of response in lymphoma.
- Chart reviews to assess quality of care.
- End of life quality of care issues for patients with advanced hematological malignancies.
