A research project led by The GCI鈥檚 Daniela Quail and Peter Siegel receives $9.7 million in funding.

The Canadian government has revealed its plan to allocate over $515 million through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) to bolster research nationwide with crucial research infrastructure and equipment.

In line with this, 成人VR视频 and its affiliated research hospitals have secured $42.4 million through the CFI Innovation Fund (IF) to back eight projects spearheaded by 成人VR视频 researchers in collaboration with partner institutions. Complemented by contributions from the Government of Quebec and other partners, the overall investment in research infrastructure amounts to $107.5 million. Furthermore, CFI has allocated an additional $13 million for the ongoing operations and maintenance of this infrastructure.

A research team led by The Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Institute鈥檚 (GCI) Daniela Quail and Peter Siegel was awarded 3.7 million dollars in CFI funding complemented by contributions from the Government of Quebec and other partners, bringing the total overall support to $9.7 million.

The funding is for large scale-infrastructure to support a research project titled: 鈥淎t the crossroads between metabolic dysfunction and cancer - the next therapeutic frontier.鈥
