Brian J. Ward
Brian Ward trained in Infectious Diseases (Johns Hopkins), Tropical Medicine (U London) and Microbiology (成人VR视频). For varying periods, he also served as chief of the Infectious Diseases Division, deputy director of the RI-MUHC, associate director of the JD McLean Tropical Diseases Centre and director of the National Reference Laboratory for Parasitology. His research in virology, vaccines and parasitology has been supported by many national and international agencies/foundations as well as industry. He has published >300 peer-reviewed articles and contributed to the development of several novel vaccines. As medical officer at Medicago Inc (2017-2023), he helped to license the world鈥檚 first vaccine produced in plants for SARS-COV-2. He has received numerous awards including a Rhodes scholarship (1997), the US DOD Exceptional Public Service Award (2003) and the Quebec Prix Innovation for vaccine design (2000).
