Program Description
The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Italian (Thesis) offered by the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures in the Faculty of Arts is a research-intensive program that emphasizes interactive and demanding learning opportunities. The program's objective is to equip students with skills in critical reading, novel thinking, and academic writing to either continue their studies or pursue professional opportunities.

Unique Program Features
- The goal of the program is to maintain the traditions and study of the great classics as well as to provide a window on an increasingly complex and diverse contemporary Italian culture;
- Students may take up to a maximum of 6 credits outside of the Italian Studies Department (upon approval);
- Students benefit from Reading Courses offered as tutorials.

- An eligible Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA out of a possible 4.0 GPA
