Christie Lovat
Biography:
Dr. Lovat is a faculty lecturer in the Bieler School of Environment, and has an interdisciplinary background in wildlife biology, with a particular focus in plant ecology and the conservation of American chestnut (Castanea dentata). More recently, she has developed interests in the psychology of motivating action against climate change, particularly at the scale of the individual and local community, and in the historic progress of scientific theory. She has experience navigating the job market in teaching at the college and university level, and can most help others interested in these types of positions (or teaching in general).
