Jessica Lin
Jessica Lin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. She currently holds a Canada Research Chair--Tier 2 in Partial Differential Equations and Probability. Her research program is centered around the asymptotic behaviour of random physical systems, with an emphasis on stochastic homogenization of partial differential equations and the large-scale behaviour of stochastic particle systems. Born and educated in the US, she received her undergraduate degree from NYU and her PhD in mathematics from the University of Chicago. She then went on to pursue a postdoc at the University of Wisconsin--Madison, before beginning her first tenure-track job at 成人VR视频 in 2017. Jessica is passionate about participating in mentoring initiatives at all levels; she has created mentoring programs for students in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and at various conferences she has organized internationally.
