Since 1988, Nicolas Mateesco Matte was faithfully present at each biennial conference of the European Alumnae and Alumni association of IASL of MCGill University for over 20 years. In 2006, his dream came true when the conference was held in his home country, Bucharest, Romania and he could share his origins with his students so dear to him.
