New piece by Prof. Maria Hwang in Open Democracy
Professor Maria Hwang (Assistant Professor, IGSF and the Department of East Asian Studies) recently wrote an essay for Open Democracy. The piece is titled 鈥淓xit denied: women losing the right to leave in the Philippines.鈥� This essay explores how anti-trafficking policies harm women workers and curtail their freedom of movement.

"What's the Recipe for a Queer Cookbook," a Physical and Digital Exhibit
This exhibit was curated by Dr. Alex Ketchum of the IGSF with special assistance from Jacqueline Lee-Tam. The physical exhibit will be in the hallways of the Leacock Building of 成人VR视频 from August 18 - December 20, 2021. The digital exhibit will live on historicalcookingproject.com.

Honouring GSFS & GWS Students Graduating in the Class of 2021
The IGSF is very proud of our graduating students in the Class of 2021. Since there will be no traditional commencement ceremony this year, we wish to honour the tremendous contributions our graduating students have made to Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies at 成人VR视频 in other ways.
