Creating University-Community Partnerships: An Interactive Conference
Youth Mental Health: Building Resilience
Agenda for Thursday, November 22, 2012 (8:30a.m. – 12p.m)
Faculty of Education, room 233
Welcome to the Youth Mental Health: Building Resilience Interactive Conference! Today we are looking forward to having the opportunity to explore the possibility of creating some new university-community partnerships. We are fortunate to have Dr. Stan Kutcher, the Sun Life Chair in Adolescent Mental Health sharing his own experience with a very successful far reaching example of a University-Community Partnership that enhances youth mental health in the community. We will also have the opportunity to explore possible collaborations with our colleagues in both small groups and all together. It is our hope that today can be the first step towards building links between university and community partners for future collaborations!
