Learning about Indigenous Peoples

The Kanien鈥檏eh谩:ka Onkwaw茅n:na Raotiti贸hkwa Language and Cultural Center

  • The听听was created to preserve and enrich the language and culture of the Kanien鈥檏eh谩:ka (Mohawk) of Kahnaw脿:ke. Their center is located in the Mohawk Territory of Kahnaw脿:ke south of Montreal, Canada.

The Tsi Ronterihwan贸nhnha Language and Cultural Center

  • The听听is part of the听Kanien鈥檏eh谩:ka (Mohawk) community of听Kanehsat脿:ke, and its goal is "promoting, preserving and revitalizing the Kanien'k茅ha language, culture and history". It provides resources for learning about听the history and culture of Kanehsat脿:ke, as well as working on language revitalization and education.听

First Nations

  • 听is a national webinar series that provides an opportunity to share knowledge, experiences and perspectives in support of collective efforts to strengthen Indigenous cultural safety in health and social services.听
