The workshop will be held on听Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from听11:00 am to 1:00 pm,
The workshop will be held in the McIntyre Medical Building, 2nd听floor, room 208/209.
This workshop is designed to teach you how to attract and maintain the attention of readers in primarily STEM disciplines with effective images and image captions.听听听
Participate in this 2-hour interactive workshop and you will the following:
听 听 听-evaluate the visual and expressive impact of images and image captions
听 听 听-practice improving images and image captions to attract readers to your work
听Please come to the workshop with:
听 听 听-an image for a project you are working on
听 听 听-a sample TOC (Table of Contents) graphic and figure from a journal you want to publish in
The workshop will be held in the McIntyre Medical Building, 2nd听floor, room 208/209.
The workshop will be led by听Dr. Chris Corkery, who has worked in science and research communication for fifteen years. He is currently a Technology Transfer Manager at 成人VR视频.
The registration for the workshop will take approximately 2 minutes to complete.
