Creating an Inclusive Science Ecosystem: A panel discussion on equity, diversity and inclusion in academia
What is the current state of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in academia and the world of science? Why is EDI such an important factor in optimizing the academic ecosystem? What can faculty, staff, and students do to help get us to a fully inclusive academic world?
Panelists will address these questions and more by drawing from their EDI-related research and activism, as well as their personal experience as members of the academic community, to define the current gaps and envision practical change processes.
The panel will be followed by a networking session with complimentary refreshments.
All are welcome.听
