Professor Adelle Blackett appointed to USMCA Roster

The Faculty of Law congratulates Professor Adelle Blackett on her appointment to the USMCA Annex 31-B List of Rapid Response Labor Panelists. Members of the roster have committed to being generally available to serve as panelists for disputes arising under Annex 31-B of the new Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement.

Adelle Blackett, Ad. E., is Professor of Law and Canada Research Chair in Transnational Labour Law and Development at ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ, where she teaches and researches in the areas of labour and employment law, trade regulation, law and development, critical race theory and slavery and the law. Widely published in English, French and Spanish in the emerging field of transnational labour law, she is the author of Everyday Transgressions: Domestic Workers’ Transnational Challenge to International Labour Law (Cornell University Press, 2019).
